How is my body changing?

  • You may still feel tired and have morning sickness. For most women, morning sickness is mild and goes away during the first trimester. But if you’re losing weight and can’t keep food or drink down, tell your provider.
  • You may have headaches and get lightheaded or dizzy. If these symptoms don't go away, tell your health care provider. Talk to your provider before taking any medicine.
  • You may have gained 1-2kg by now. Your clothes may begin to feel tight.

How is my baby growing?

  • Your baby's fingernails and toenails are formed.
  • Your baby's mouth has 20 buds that become baby teeth.
  • Fine hairs begin to form on your baby’s skin.
  • You can hear your baby's heartbeat for the first time.
  • By the end of the third month, baby is 6.5-7.5cm long and weighs about 28gr.
